Glossing Over.

At eight years old, Griffen Van Meter was America's favorite child star. At twenty-something, he's auditioning for soup commercials in a banana suit, estranged from his father, the most powerful producer in Hollywood, and haunted by memories that blur and disappear.

Then the machine that made him comes back, and this time it offers everything: the roles, the awards, the face on every screen. What follows is a descent through the power structures that built Hollywood, broke him, and have been waiting ever since. A system of control older than cinema, older than the church, older than any of the names it has worn.

It made him famous. It isn't finished.

The Reclaimers.

When a string of ritualistic murders tears through a dying Arkansas factory town, heroin-addicted homicide detective Lars Nord is the only one brilliant enough to read what the bodies are saying and broken enough to be ignored. The kills are too precise, too ceremonial, too deliberate to be the work of one man.

The Reclaimers is a Southern Gothic descent into radicalization, where grievance becomes gospel and forgotten men become soldiers. Dark, propulsive, and disturbingly timely, this is noir at the edge of America's unraveling.

The Reclaimers is currently on submission, represented by Don Pape.

About Me.

Pain transcribed as art.

Kyle's writing is a combination of transcribed pain and channeled influence. In 2023, he completed his first novel, A Letter From The Blur, which landed him representation from publishing industry veteran Don Pape. Now, he's halfway through his newest novel, Glossing Over, a psychological Hollywood thriller that Kyle describes as a psychedelic allegory.
